about ME

Born in Manchester in May 1997, I have always been keen to draw, watch films, take photos, and listen to music. Having realised film and photography were viable career options whilst studying for my GCSE in Media Studies, I decided to further my film education and gain an A-Level in Film Studies, as well as begin to test shoot with models and photograph gigs. In 2015, I enrolled on to the BSc in Film and Television Production course at the University of York, where I learned invaluable lessons in film history, production, TV studio work, post-production, lighting, and sound. Whilst attending university, I contributed to the making of numerous short films, magazine shows, and I frequently shot for the student newspaper 'Nouse'. I graduated with First Class Honours in July 2018. Since then, I have worked within both programmes and comms at Just Like Us, the LGBTQ+ young people's charity, and I now work as the Social Video Editor at GAY TIMES, the world's leading LGBTQ+ content and media brand.
